Angelina Mondavi of THE Mondavis paired up with our friends over at Sojourn Cellars to share the old Ravenswood property. Ravenswood was the home of “no wimpy wine” and one of the fundamentally California Zinfandels.

With a last name like Mondavi wine is in your blood. Four generations: Robert, Peter Sr., Michael, Tim, Robert Jr., Carlo, Dante… all carry the DNA, pretty much any project they touch turns to gold. When it comes to winemaking excellence though, Angelina Mondavi stands alone, as a protégé of Jayson Woodbridge and Thomas Rivers Brown. Boasting a dozen 100-pointers and over twenty 98-99+ point wines, she owns and makes Aloft, Dark Matter, Fourth Leaf... all magical wines long sold out prior to release.

This Harrow Cellars is her newest project and intended to be a continuation of the heritage of the property and a love letter to Sonoma winemaking history.

The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc is bright and fresh! Lovely notes of grapefruit and Meyer lemon alongside hints of tropical mango, kiwi, and Asian pear. Brilliant acidity almost lifts you out your seat and the finish lingers for days. We are manifesting spring with this beauty, and it just might work!
