2023 Hampton Royce Cabernet Sauvignon The Royce Oakville Napa Valley

A barrel selection from the "East Hillside" block of 34-year-old vines, crafted by winemaker Dylan Pecchenino, who previously interned at Saxum Winery and James Berry Vineyard. This is a super-attractive Cabernet Sauvignon, with beautifully polished tannins framing silky, ripe, and juicy black-toned fruit. Layers of complex tobacco, sagebrush, dark cocoa powder, and black liquorice add depth and intrigue. Incredibly bold and powerful, the tannins build steadily yet remain crisp and supportive, enhancing the wine’s ripe, concentrated fruit. Enjoy now or cellar for 5–10 years to allow further refinement.
